AUGUSTA Office Stand-Alone Programs, Maine (AP) — The Maine Gambling Control Board has approved a license for western Maine’s Oxford Casino Windows 7 Activation Key, which is due to open in two months.

Idaho holds its state and congressional primary, the first closed primary in the state’s history.

Here’s a list of four things to watch tonight.

Nebraska Senate Primary

The Nebraska Senate race will be a key race for Republicans and Democrats in the fall. Republicans view the state as one of their best chances to pick up a seat from Democrats,  particularly since the retirement announcement of Nebraska’s Democratic Sen. Ben Nelson.

Republican and Democratic voters in Nebraska will both select their nominees for the race today. On the Democratic side, Bob Kerrey, the former governor and senator for the state, is considered the likely nominee. The Republican race is  more fluid.

There are three candidates in the Republican race: Jon Bruning, the state’s attorney general, Deb Fischer, a state senator, and state treasurer Don Stenberg. Bruning, 43, has long been considered the favorite, but heading into the primary he faces a late in the game surge from Fischer replica watches, 61.

Through-out the primary season Fischer had not been seen a strong contender. She did not enjoy the same financial strength or name recognition as Bruning, or the same financial assistance as Stenberg, whose campaign has been aided by large spending from tea party affiliated groups like the Club For Growth and Freedom Works.  Stenberg and Bruning have mostly focused their attacks on one another.

Recently Fischer, who was endorsed by Sarah Palin, has emerged as a strong challenger. Bruning is still considered the likely nominee, but Republican officials say that a Fischer upset is not out of the realm of possibility.

Turnout

Strong turnout is sometimes interpreted as a sign of enthusiasm, as was the case in Wisconsin’s primary for their recall election last week. Republicans were heartened by the strong turnout for Gov. Scott Walker, despite the fact that he was already the presumed candidate (after all replica watches, he is the one being recalled.)

In Nebraska, turnout will be driven at least to some degree by the senate primary. Nevertheless, strong turnout for either side in Nebraska and Oregon will be likely be interpreted as a sign of enthusiasm about the general election in those states.

 Delegates

At stake in Tuesday’s contest are 63 delegates, though the 35 delegates in Nebraska will not actually be awarded until July, as Tuesday’s primary is a beauty contest. Mitt Romney has 973 delegates, according to ABC News calculations, a little less than 200 delegates shy of the 1,144 he needs to win his party’s nomination.

It is mathematically impossible for Romney to hit 1,144 on Tuesday night. The earliest that can happen is May 29, when Texas holds its primary.

The surprise factor

Last week the primary development which had everyone talking was the surprisingly strong performance of federal inmate Keith Judd in the Democratic presidential primary in West Virginia. Though it was well known that Obama is not exactly popular in the Mountain state replica watches, the 40 percent of the vote Judd received still took observers by surprise.

There are no prison inmates on the ballot in Oregon or Nebraska’s Democratic primaries, but a surprise factor like a strong performance by “uncommitted” against Obama in Nebraska, or a big turnout in either party’s primaries in Oregon, could still emerge. 1. Frequent moves impact a child’s grades and school success
2. A diminished parent-child relationship due to financial stress
3. A correlation between increased doctor and emergency room visits and foreclosure rates
4. There is increased crime in areas with foreclosed homes, and a loss of community and social services due to declining tax dollars.

Foreclosures result in relocation, often necessitating a change in schools. As the report reveals, these children also rank lower in math and reading assessment tests and have a higher likelihood to drop out of school.

The rise in doctor and emergency room visits by children in areas suffering high foreclosure rates indicates a link between their physical and emotional health and their family’s instability, either from financial stress, job loss, or distress due to relocation.
Isaacs states that the highest rate of impacted children was seen in Nevada, which not surprisingly, is among the top states in foreclosures, followed by Florida, Arizona, California, and Michigan.

To address the negative impact of foreclosure among children, the Brookings Institution report supports increased loan modifications to keep families in their homes and reductions in mortgage principals. They also recommend revisions to the servicing standards for mortgages and an amendment that would give bankruptcy judges the ability to modify mortgages.

The report also lends support to McKinney-Vento Education for Homeless Children and Youth and similar programs that give schools support and resources to help reduce the dropout rate of homeless children and increase their success in schools.

The Wheat Thins program was architected by Kraft agency MediaVest. The goal was to “spark a dialogue,” she says. “The program was started with our conversations with media partners to integrate the Wheat Thins brand into the dialogue and do it in a way that is playful and makes fun of itself.” The next step was to brief the Colbert team Replica Hale Bob Dresses, who then used the brief as part of the segment, she explains in this video interview.

Even growing up in New York City barely prepares you for the sprawling metropolis that is Seoul, South Korea. Its business model, based on spending money to bring in money, is taking a hit as the media conglomerate struggles to bring in luxury-product advertisements. In 1997, Slate’s David Plotz’s chronicled the gratuitous profligacy of those with Condé Nast expense accounts—an era that could soon be history. The article is reprinted below.

During a typical lunchtime at the Royalton Hotel restaurant in midtown Manhattan, TheNew Yorker’s Tina Brown might be installed at her usual table, and Vogue’s Anna Wintour might be at her usual table (chewing on her usual meal—a $25 hamburger). Vanity Fair’s Graydon Carter might be there, too, although he has transferred his main allegiance to a place called Patroon. And one man, who probably isn’t there himself, picks up every tab. She bills your candy bar, juice, and cigarettes (as well as her own candy bar, juice, and cigarettes) to the magazine ($15).
